King of the Box

3d Lacrosse is excited to announce the resurgence of the King of the Box tournament, to take place on Columbus Day. This is a true box lacrosse tournament that will follow real box lacrosse rules for youth club teams. Players will get a chance to compete to compete against other talented club players in a boarded surface with 4x4 nets and real box goalie gear.

Tournament begins at 8AM and goes all day

Tournament Format

  • Recommend 12-15 player roster size
  • Each team guaranteed at least three games with playoffs and a champion for each group
  • Each game will be in hour blocks

Boys Divisions

U13s (2024-2025)
U15s (2022-2023)  


$750 per team
$200 deposit due at the time of registration
$550 remaining balance due by September 30th, 2017

Goalie Equipment

It is recommended that teams bring their own goalie gear. However, if a team does not own goalie gear, the King of the Box tournament will provide box goalie equipment, including:

  • Goalie stick
  • Helmet with throat guard
  • Gloves
  • Cup
  • Chest protector
  • Goalie Pants
  • Leg guards

Player Equipment

The King of the Box tournament will NOT provide player equipment, please see the list of suggested equipment below:

  • Short sticks only
  • Helmet
  • Mouthguard
  • Gloves
  • Shoulder pads (must cover entire shoulder)
  • Arm pads
  • Cup
  • Bicep pads (highly recommended)
  • Rib pads (highly recommended)
