Sean joined 3d Lacrosse in the spring of 2014 as the EVP of Operations. In January 2019, Sean assumed the role of Chief Operating Officer.

An accomplished leader who creates high-performance cultures, Sean excels at building, training and mentoring highly productive marketing, sales and operational teams. He is a proven change agent with outstanding strategic vision, talent in expense control and ability to maximize profits and return-on-investment.
Prior to 3d Lacrosse, Sean was the Chief Executive Officer & President of Kidrobot, Inc., a premier creator, distributor and retailer of limited edition collectible art toys, apparel and accessories. Private equity recruiters charged him with relocating the company from New York City to Boulder where he successfully reorganized, streamlined and revitalized the business, reestablishing the brand as the segment leader.
Previous to Kidrobot, Sean served as Vice President of North American Sales for Crocs, Inc. where he engineered the transformation of the business from an explosive, item-driven footwear retailer phenomenon to a strategically-driven brand model by leading all aspects of the sales function including strategic planning, channel and account management, customer service and field marketing for the North America.
Before Crocs, Fox led Brine, Inc. as their CEO and President. During his seven-year run (1999 – 2006), Fox helped the company become the lacrosse industry’s dominant brand from a marketing and performance perspective, including the introduction of Brine’s signature men’s helmet which garnered a 20 percent market share in the category. Fox also spent seven years at Reebok International, having joined Reebok through its acquisition of Above the Rim International, the original lifestyle basketball apparel company which Fox co-founded and served as COO.
Before Crocs, Sean served as CEO & President of Brine, Inc., the world’s leading purveyor of lacrosse equipment (and other specialty sporting goods, footwear and apparel) which was acquired by New Balance, Inc. in late 2006. Sean joined Brine as Vice President of Sales & Marketing after more than seven years at Reebok International, where he served in a variety of sales, marketing and business development leadership roles. Prior to Reebok, Sean was a Co-Founder & Chief Operating Officer of Above The Rim International, the original lifestyle basketball apparel company (which was acquired by Reebok.)
Sean’s early career highlights include positions in banking/finance with Manufacturers Hanover Trust Company and in advertising/integrated marketing with Foote, Cone & Belding, Inc. A Dean’s List graduate of Hobart College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature, Sean was a key contributor on five of Hobart’s 16 National Champion lacrosse teams: four as a player and one as an assistant coach.
