Bryan Hancock joined 3d Lacrosse in the spring of 2020 as the Manager of 3d Dallas. Prior to taking on a full-time role, he coached for 3d Colorado in the summers of 2018 and 2019.
Bryan joined the 3d team after finishing a fantastic career at Hobart College, where he was named to the NEC All-Rookie Team in 2016 and the NEC Academic Honor Roll in 2016 and 2017. He helped lead Hobart to the NEC Championship crown in 2016 by scoring three goals, including the game-winner, against St. Joseph’s.
Prior to studying and playing lacrosse at Hobart, Bryan attended Mountain Vista High School in Highlands Ranch, Colorado, where he played for and learned from some of the first coaches to work with 3d Lacrosse. He served as team captain, was a three-year varsity letter winner, and a two-time All-State selection. Bryan also captained the varsity ice hockey team, leading the squad to four state quarterfinals appearances, and he still holds the school record for points.
Bryan spent his summers and falls playing for 3d Colorado and was one of the program’s early Division I commits.
During the summers of 2016 and 2017, Bryan played Junior A and Junior B box lacrosse in Ontario, Canada, for the St. Catharines Athletics. Bryan recorded a combined 44 goals and 58 assists for 102 points in 34 games.
Bryan recently relocated to Dallas, where he will teach 3d Lacrosse athletes by drawing on his playing experience on the field and in the box and his deep knowledge of the 3d Methodology—the system in which he himself was groomed as a player.
Bryan holds a bachelor’s degree in English from Hobart.
