Brian graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Studies and a minor in Wilderness Education from SUNY Potsdam. He played college lacrosse for four years, competing at the Division I and III levels. Brian played for two years under Scott Nelson at SUNY Binghamton before transferring to SUNY Potsdam, where he was coached by Rick Berkman. While at Potsdam, he was a First-Team All-SUNYAC member and recipient of the team’s 2016 Coaches Award.

Brian is originally from Rochester, New York, where he was a four-year letter recipient at Fairport High School. At Fairport, he played lacrosse under head coach Mike Torrelli and assistants Tim Soudan and Eric Carlsen. Brian was a captain of the 2012 team, leading Fairport to an undefeated regular season. While at Fairport, he was a two-time Section V champion and runner-up in the Class A New York State lacrosse championship. Prior to joining 3d Lacrosse, Brian worked at Paychex and TES Staffing in Rochester.
