San Marcos Eagles Spring 2018 Recreational League
The San Marcos Eagles are proud to announce their 4th spring season with 3d Lacrosse this Spring 2017. The goal of the San Marcos Eagles is to create a fun but structured environment to teach girls the game of lacrosse! This program is a spring recreational program open to girls in 1st-8th grade. All levels of experience are encouraged to play as well. There are no tryouts, only evaluations to ensure that each player is assigned to the correct team according to age, skill level and knowledge of the game.
The Eagles will begin practice week the of February 20th. Games will start the March 4th and will be played mostly on Saturdays with the possibility of a Sunday game or two.
At 3d Lacrosse, it is our coaching and training that sets us apart from the rest of the club world. We have a wide variety of coaching tools and methodology that has proven to be superior and effective. It is crucial to learn good habits and technique at a young age in order to excel as a lacrosse player. We strive to instill teamwork, communication skills, passion, competitiveness, and confidence on and off the field. We are committed to delivering a great recreational team experience for players and families. The San Marcos Eagles is focused on providing superior training through well-executed practice plans which combine the teaching of concepts and techniques through high tempo drills. Players are trained with the 3d Methodology. Training will occur Mid- February through Mid-May.
1st - 4th grade: Pee Wee
This team will train twice a week (TBD). Games will be on either Saturdays or Sundays. Games will be scheduled by the SDGYLA. This team will play 8 games throughout the season with a focus on the twice a week training.
5th - 8th grades: Middle School
This team(s) will train twice a week (TBD). Games will be on either Saturdays or Sundays. Games will be scheduled by the SDGYLA. Team(s) will play 10 games throughout the season with a focus on twice a week training.
There will be no practices during the week of SMUSD spring break.
*Practice will end at sunset until daylight savings time on fields where we do not have lights.

The definitive practice and game schedule will be managed on Team App. Team App will be activated before the season starts with the training dates/times and games when available. Please sign up for Team App upon registration to ensure that you do not miss any team communications.
SDGLA creates the schedule. The schedule is typically released the week prior to the first game.

Each individual is responsible for their own equipment. We do have an agreement with www.lax.com and will be able to provide guidance in purchasing from them.
- Chelsea Hargett
All of our 3d coaches go through hands on and classroom training to better serve your daughters. Our level of instruction utilizing 3d Methodology is unique and our ability to develop players is unparalleled in the lacrosse training landscape. 3d San Marcos Eagles will field teams comprised of 1st-8th graders from the greater San Marcos/Carlsbad region. Teams will be divided up by grade and skill and ability.
US Lacrosse Membership number is required for registration.
