Oregon Spring Premier Training 2019
3d Oregon Lacrosse enters year three of spring premier training (SPT) for boys and girls middle school players. SPT is a supplement to each player’s respective spring season and will not conflict with school lacrosse.
SPT players will receive quality reps, learn challenging techniques, and compete in fast paced game play. Players will also expand their athletic IQ in speed/agility training which will be incorporated into each training session. We wish to provide a platform that will better equip Oregon boys and girls players for the competition they will see at the next level. We believe SPT players will see a drastic improvement through continued refining of their craft this spring.
SPT training will build off the previous week’s progressions to build core fundamentals while pushing the envelope athletically and creatively. Players will learn an array of stick skills, effective ways to decisively dodge and finish, the fundamentals of on and off-ball team defense, and the progressive team concepts seen at the varsity and collegiate levels. Each training session will end with 6v6 & 7v7 competition to give players an opportunity to incorporate the skills they have learned.
