Connecticut Summer Sevens Team Registration
3d Lacrosse is thrilled to introduce the Connecticut Sevens Tournament. Connecticut Sevens will pit the region's most competitive boys and girls youth lacrosse towns against each other in a fast-paced, 7v7 games in order to crown a champion. The new format is aimed at giving players the opportunity to improve and compete in a rapid-fire environment that will give every player a high number of touches and force them to make quick decisions.
The Connecticut Sevens tournament was inspired by the "rugby sevens" events played in the 2016 Olympics. Rugby sevens is played with teams of seven players playing seven-minute halves and similarly, our Sevens tournament will be played with smaller, 5x5 goals and each team fielding six players and one goalie. Games will consist of 20-minute halves with running time.
Sign up your Sevens team and compete for annual bragging rights and the brand new Sevens Connecticut trophy at this exciting one-day event. In the process, improve your skills in the off-season by competing alongside Tri-State’s best players in a unique setting.
