College Prep Overnight 2017

This camp is for committed players only - please contact Mark Goodrich for more information.

The College Prep Overnight camp is 3d Lacrosse’s premiere college lacrosse preparatory camp.  Last year we had Over 50 Division I and III college committed players from across the nation descend on New Hampshire for a weekend of full throttle training in a high intensity and competitive atmosphere. The jump from high school to college lacrosse presents a massive learning curve and if you're not preparing for the speed, skill, and IQ of the next level, you will end up on the bench. Committing to a school does not mean it's now time to relax. In fact, it's time to really go to work. This camp is designed to provide players with the proper information and guidance so that they can prepare themselves for college lacrosse. Players will run through college level practices, and receive top-level instruction from coaches who have experience, both as players and coaches, at the college level.

The week will immediately show how you stack up against other future college lacrosse players, while highlighting your strengths and weaknesses. As you continue to play with higher-level talent, you will see areas of your game that need improvement such as, strength, foot speed, stick skills, finishing, and your overall lacrosse IQ. Determining what areas need improvement, and understanding how to attack them, will leave you in a better position to receive playing time at school.

One of our main goals for this camp is to give the players a feel for what it will be like to play at the college sports including many aspects outside of Lacrosse. We will be educating players in other areas including: health, nutrition, yoga, leadership, and strength and conditioning. It is crucial for players to have an understanding of how these areas all mesh with the game of lacrosse, as they each play a major role in college athletics.

If you are serious about playing college lacrosse and want to give yourself the best chance to compete for a starting roll, then prepare with the best at this years 3d College Prep Overnight.

“Jack came back truly enriched from 3D Committed Camp in so many ways. Of course, he loved three sessions a day of intense play amongst excellent lacrosse talent. That much he was expecting. What took place in between was equally impactful and was not anticipated but in many ways resonated more deeply. The speakers clearly connected in a very positive way.”

“this was hands down the single best lacrosse event I have been a part of. Not only was the competition the absolute best, but so was the coaching and classroom guidance. This seemed like the only camp where the coaches actually really cared about all the kids there and helping to improve their game.”

”Nothing could prepare me more than that tempo of lacrosse”

“I left 3d Committed feeling like I had improved my game more so than any other three days of lacrosse I have played, and I have been to countless camps and showcases.”

“Will said this was the best camp experience he has had. I think he took away a lot - not only from a lacrosse perspective but also from a leadership and life decision perspective.”

“I love the work we put in on the field, but I feel like the lessons we learned in the classroom were more bigger picture. I think a lot of kids don't think big picture walking into their freshman year.”

"The coaching and the level of talent were probably the two most rewarding factors. Picked up some little things (particularly on defense and shooting) which go a long way in making a good first impression with your college coach. Also, helps alleviate anxiety about what a college setting will be like."

“It also has a great vibe because no one is trying to get recruited so its not about hogging the ball and getting your own individual looks, its about improving your game and playing with a team.”

“It was one of the most efficient, organized, and competitive lacrosse events that I have ever been to. The coaching was both expert and informative. While at times the practices were fast paced, critical, and rigorous, I think the coaching staff did a fantastic job at remaining approachable towards any player who needed advice about the game. The competitive environment created by the camp was perfect for developing our level of play and I think that many of the campers thrived when playing with such a mature mentality of buying in and listening to our coaches.”
