Throughout the U.S., the 3d System has redefined training and lacrosse methodology in both field and box lacrosse. Want results? Just look at the schools where our players have committed. 3d-trained players have a different approach to lacrosse—an approach that can’t be learned anywhere else.
Typical Summer Ball: What’s the typical summer for an advanced middle school lacrosse player? He spends more time playing than practicing, and a lot of times he’s playing against underwhelming opponents. It’s an environment that lends itself to complacency, not development. Fun enough, just not much of a challenge.
The Methodology- 3d trains players in the 3d Lacrosse Methodology, an experience unlike anything that’s been taught to middle school students in the past. The box is all about improving stick skills and expanding the arsenal of moves. Players learn where to find the highest percentage shots while shooting at small nets; tight confines speed everything up and force fast decision making; and short sticks give defensive players a chance to hone their ball handling. Field work improves lacrosse IQ and positional proficiency. Positive reinforcement comes as players see immediate improvement in their games when they bring their newfound skills to daily box and field scrimmages.
Here’s a breakdown of how Box/Field improves players:
- Finishing and Faking
- Feeding/Seeing the Field
- 2-Man Game
- Confidence in Tight Space
- Goalie Patience
- Defensive Communication and Footwork
- Motion Offense Principles
- Shooting on the Run
- Cutting and Finishing
- Dodging off of Windups
- Defending the Speed Dodge
- Disrupting Feeders/Shooters with Checks
- Confidence in Tight Space
- Transition Offense and Defense
- Controlling the Face-Off
- Goalie Efficiency and Consistency
3d Lacrosse’s national network of coaches ensure that the top players from across the country will train with the top coaches—each camp will be staffed with 3d Lacrosse Master Coaches. Plenty of camps say their coaches live, eat, and breathe lacrosse. And that might be true—they just do something else for 40 hours a week to make a living. 3d Elite’s Master Coaches don’t have any other job outside of lacrosse. So they live, eat, breathe, and work lacrosse. All four seasons, every year, they’re training with us while learning and helping refine our methodology. It’s that methodology, and the quality of our coaches, that separates 3d Elite from all other camps. It’s also what ends up separating our players from their peers.
Wake up, eat, lax; eat, lax; eat, lax, sleep. Repeat. No kidding.
