Adventure Camp PacWest: Bend
3d Lacrosse is excited to announce the unveiling of Adventure Camp PacWest taking place in Bend, Oregon this July. Three summers of success with Adventure Camp on the beautiful Lake Winnipesaukee in New Hampshire has inspired our 3d Oregon staff to provide this ultimate summer experience. Boys and girls between between 5th and 8th grade will receive highly intuitive 3d Lacrosse training, as well as the opportunity to explore many of Bend’s life-enriching outdoor activities. Adventure Camp will accommodate both boys and girls with varying levels of experience in lacrosse by the fun, yet competitively engaging training. Players will train and compete in both field and box lacrosse during our 2 hours of training each day. Players will learn an array of stick skills, dodges, defensive mechanics, progressive finishes, and compete for daily prizes. We will also take time to play 3-by each evening, with the camp culminating in a 3-by tournament.
Lacrosse will be the common thread for each Adventure Camper, but after a long lacrosse intensive summer we will look to take a step back and use the outdoors to better develop and mentor players. Cell phones and technology will be left in the dorms each day as we will focus on helping our youth better develop social skills among their peers while exploring the great outdoors. Our time together will be centered around building character through challenging players to broaden their horizons in outdoors activities and creating leadership opportunities for campers to lead and groups to work as a team outside the sports arena.
