3d Lacrosse Box - Field Hybrid™ Development System and Methodology Library

When charged with moving the University of Denver’s unranked lacrosse program into Division I competition, 3d Lacrosse Founder and CEO Jamie Munro actively recruited a small group of Canadian players to supplement his domestic roster. Jamie realized that Canadian players excelled at the collegiate level because they spent many long winters playing box lacrosse. This gave them incredible stick handling skills and experience in mastering tight space tactics. When integrated with the field strategies of the collegiate game, Jamie created a winning combination.

When Jamie began teaching his young son’s and daughter's lacrosse teams, he acquired a 360-degree view of the approach required to teach and create highly skilled players across all ages and the Box-Field Hybrid™ Development System was born.

The 3d Lacrosse Methodology Library was created as a training tool and resource for coaches.  This was one of Jamie’s first ideas and has evolved over the past seven years.  The constant evolution has created the fantastic resource we have today.  The Methodology Library contains several components: philosophy, terminology, team drill library, individual and small group library, practice plans - both preset and an ability to create new plans, game clips, and other sports.

This resource currently compliments our on-field “coaching of coaches” through our 3d Alliance program or our custom workshops and is the only way to gain access.  For more information on how you can get involved in our workshops and 3d Alliance program, please contact Dave Dobbins, [email protected].
