DENVER — 3d Lacrosse has announced a partnership with the 2018 FIL World Lacrosse Championships to help deliver lacrosse content to lacrosse fans leading up to and during the ten-day event.

The 2018 FIL World Lacrosse Championships are being hosted this summer by Israel, and the tournament is set to take place July 12-21 in Netanya. The tournament – the first to be featured outside of the U.S., Canada, England or Australia – is projected to be the biggest ever and is expected to draw as many as 50 teams to compete across 15 divisions.

Sanctioned by the Federation of International Lacrosse, the FIL World Lacrosse Championships will bring an estimated 2,000 players, coaches, officials and volunteers to Israel.

Leading up to the event, 3d Lacrosse will be delivering to its network content focused on the 2018 World Lacrosse Championships, including details about official internships, VIP packages, special offers and other opportunities, as well as information on the 2018 World Lacrosse Festival. The 2018 World Lacrosse Festival is a team tournament held in conjunction with the World Lacrosse Championships that will bring men’s, women’s and boys’ teams from around the world to compete for a championship in one of six different age brackets.

“As a leading lacrosse company, we are honored by 3d Lacrosse's commitment to support this world-class event and are excited to welcome its community to the largest lacrosse event in world history,” said Jessie Kraft, Director of Partnerships for the 2018 FIL World Lacrosse Championships.

3d Lacrosse, which operates Select teams in 15 different regions throughout the continent, will engage its wide network of student-athletes, coaches and parents through regular communication in the coming months as preparation for the FIL World Lacrosse Championships is underway.
