Dan Pratt

Dan Pratt, 3d Lacrosse Assistant Coach, is also the Varsity Assistant Coach for Colorado Academy. With Dan’s coaching assistance, Colorado Academy has participated in the playoffs since 2009 and also the quarter-finals in 2010. In 2009, Dan was awarded Assistant Coach of the Year by the Colorado High School Activities Association (CHSAA). He is currently the Boy’s Lacrosse Coordinator for the Mustangs Sports Club.

From 2005 – 2010 Dan was the Assistant Coach of the Colorado Mammoth. During his tenure, in 2006, the Mammoth won the NLL Championship title and they also made four consecutive playoff appearances. During that same time period, Pratt was coach of the Junior Mammoth for three seasons. Dan was an inaugural coach for the Blue Sky Lacrosse Club from 2005-2010 and was instrumental in the growth of that club. Since 2006, he has hosted a lacrosse clinic in the fall for K-8 players to further introduce and help young players. In 1992 – 1993, Dan was the Assistant Coach for the University of Colorado Men’s Lacrosse Club.

Professionally, Dan played in the MLL for the Detroit Turbos from 1990-1992. He was part of the winning team when the Turbos won the Championship in 1991. Dan played at the collegiate level for four years as a starting defenseman at Syracuse University and earned All-American Honors in 1987.
