Andrew MacDonnell

Andrew MacDonnell is currently the Head Boys’ Lacrosse Coach at the Cate School in Carpinteria, CA. In 2010, Andrew served as Head Coach of the Malibu High School lacrosse team, helping guide the team to the quarterfinal finish in the LA County CIF playoffs his first year. For his efforts, Andrew was recognized by his coaching peers as the 2010 LA/Ventura County Coach of the Year.

From 2006 - 2009 MacDonnell worked with Legend Retail Group in Denver while coaching lacrosse at the youth, middle school and high school levels.

Andrew is a 2006 graduate of the University of Denver where he was a four-year member of the lacrosse team. He helped anchor a defense that won three Great Western Lacrosse League Championships. During his senior season the team went 12-5 and made the school's first NCAA tournament appearance, finishing with an RPI ranking of #12 in the country. Prior to the University of Denver, Andrew played four years of varsity hockey and lacrosse at Westminster School in Simsbury, CT.

Andrew currently resides outside of Santa Barbara, California.
