Andrew Kirkaldy joined the 3d lacrosse team in 2012 as a box lacrosse coach and assistant field lacrosse coach at the youth and high school level. Andrew graduated in 2012 with a B.A. in History from Gordon College. A four year member of the Gordon College lacrosse team from 2006-2010, Kirkaldy was the 2006 rookie of the year and all-conference player every year he played. Andrew also served as team captain in 2010.
Andrew is a native of Red Deer, Alberta, Canada. Andrew’s lacrosse background is primarily in box lacrosse. He played for the Calgary Jr. A Raiders and in 2005 he competed in the 2005 Minto Cup. After graduating from the Raiders, Andrew was drafted by the Calgary Roughnecks in the 5th round and was the 51st draft overall of the National Lacrosse League, but decided to attend school at Gordon instead. Later, Andrew played in the Western Lacrosse Association with the Nanaimo Sr. A Timberman out of British Columbia, where, in 2009, he was named the team’s unsung hero.
Andrew currently resides in Oxford, CT with his lovely wife Erin.
