3d Select Colorado - 2013 High School Program

2013 High School Program - Registration Deadline January 10, 2013

3d Lacrosse is excited to announce our move to a year round program for our Colorado Select teams in 2013.  In an effort to streamline and consolidate the summer and fall club seasons, this new structure gives us the unique opportunity to train and develop each player for an entire year.  Our program is designed to keep a cohesive team together, uninterrupted by tryouts, for the course of an entire year.

As we have many multi-sport athletes in our program (and we encourage athletes to play multiple sports) players will be given the option to opt out of the fall session, if they cannot make the full year commitment.  Conversely, those that want to lock in for an entire calendar year will be able to do so.

Rosters

Our teams will be assembled in January 2013 and will train / play together throughout the entire calendar year.  Each roster will consist of our top returning players, and a few new players who have committed themselves to this unique opportunity.  High School teams are limited to no more than 22 players, including goalies.

Alternates

In addition to our fully committed rosters, 3d Select teams will accommodate up to six (6) Alternate players who will train with the team and fill in for injured / missing players during tournament play.  Coming on board a 3d Select team as an Alternate player is a great way to participate in 3d training, without the travel, monetary, and time commitment required of fully committed players.  While not guaranteed, based upon our experience, Alternate players generally end up getting opportunities to travel and compete, if they so desire.

Training Schedule

3d Select teams will train together in “mini-camp” training sessions prior to each tournament.  3d training includes both box and field lacrosse sessions, where we utilize the Box / Field hybrid™ development system.  The schedule will be available online and will include between 60-70 hours of intense training.  We continuously evolve our system and methodology in order to train our players to be the best they can possibly be.
