Athletic Trainer

 Katie Mathews, certified athletic trainer, dedicated to 3d Lacrosse and is employed by Children’s Hospital Colorado, earned her bachelor’s in Kinesiology & Athletic Training from the University of Wisconsin. Wanting to further her education, Katie continued her studies at Michigan State University where she earned her master’s degree in Athletic Training with a specialty in manual therapies. While in school, she worked as the head athletic trainer for the men’s and women’s lacrosse teams. After earning her master’s degree, Katie had the amazing opportunity to move abroad and help patients and athletes in Guangzhou, China. Now that Katie is back in the states she is looking forward to helping the patients and athletes at Children's Hospital Colorado and 3d Lacrosse. In her free time Katie enjoys running and training for triathlons.
