Why did you choose to commit to this college? I chose to commit to Princeton first and foremost because of its academic reputation. Academics were an important facet to my college search and I knew I wanted a school that would challenge me academically. I also wanted a place that would fit my personality not only academically but socially and athletically. Coach Chris Bates also had a huge impact on my choice. Immediately when I met him we clicked and I knew he would be the right coach for me. Lastly I wanted to play for a team that would consistently compete for a National Championship.
After going through the recruiting process, what are some helpful tips you would give others who are about to go through this process? I would say make sure you pick a few tournaments where you know there will be some of your desired coaches at. Don’t play in a ton of tournaments hoping to be seen. Also be extremely active in terms of emailing and contacting your coaches. They can’t contact you so you need to reach out to them.
What do you like best about 3d Lacrosse? The wide variety of coaches from all over the country.
What was your favorite part of 3d training? Box/Field Hybrid training
What is your favorite subject in school? Math
Name one thing that you could not live without. Family
If you had to choose one weapon of choice, what would it be and why? Invisibility because you could disappear whenever you need to.
What are some of your pregame rituals and/or game day superstitions? I usually re tape my stick before every game, and also listen to the same few songs.
What is your favorite vacation spot? Costa Rica
What is your favorite food? Steak and Pasta
Who is your favorite athlete? LeBron James
Who is your favorite musician? Childish Gambino
What is the last book you read? Macbeth
What is your favorite quote? “There may be people that have more talent than you, but there’s no excuse for anyone to work harder than you do.” Derek Jeter
Who has been your biggest influence? My first lacrosse Coach Angelo Rossi who taught me all I needed to know about the game; and continues to develop me as a person and a player.
