Why did you choose to commit to this college? I was extremely impressed with Central Michigan University (CMU), the lacrosse coaches and the athletic staff after going on a campus visit. I really wanted to be part of the school, the team, and the athletic development program. I felt like there would be lots of support along my academic and athletic career there. I chose CMU because I wanted to get in on the ground level. I wanted to help build the women’s lacrosse program as a brand new division 1 sport at CMU starting in the 2015-2016 season. I will get more play time at CMU than other division 1 schools since my teammates will also be incoming freshmen. I am excited to help build this program, and hope to serve as a leader and a contributor on this team for my entire collegiate career.
After going through the recruiting process, what are some helpful tips you would give others who are about to go through this process? I would recommend players attend the Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) events where college coaches will be in attendance, and watching for potential recruits. Also make sure you continue to work hard at school too, good grades really help coaches in the recruiting process. The coaches don’t have to worry about you getting accepted into their college, as well as enabling them to add athletic scholarships on top of academic scholarships to offer you the most attractive package possible.
What do you like best about 3d Lacrosse? I like the coaches on my 3d team the best. They really work with you as a player to help you showcase your skills. I really appreciate all the extra time they spent with me after practice to work on the skills that would get me noticed by college coaches.

If you had to choose one weapon of choice, what would it be and why? My weapon of choice would be my compound bow. I feel like Katniss Everdeen when I go shooting at the local archery range.
What are some of your pregame rituals and/or game day superstitions? I try to eat pasta before a game to give me energy and I always listen to music.
What is your favorite vacation spot? My favorite vacation spot is Breckenridge, CO since I love the mountains and I love to ski.
