Player Evaluation:
There is nothing subtle about Bergman’s size, strength and range. However, the way he plays does not demand people’s attention. Bergman is the type of kid who plays great positioning, does his job and when the ball hits the ground, he is all over it. He is surprisingly good off the ground for a big guy. Bergman put the ball on the ground on several occasions. Most importantly he turned those GB’s into possessions for his team and quick transition opportunities. I look forward to seeing how Bergman develops as he moves onto play some Big Ten/Time lacrosse in college.
