3dBC will utilize its nationwide network of club, high school, and college coaches to recruit the best players all over the country. Having spent the last 10 years creating the top NCAA recruiting camp in the country, Jake Reed has intimate knowledge of the landscape of high school lacrosse. With over 20 years of Division I recruiting experience, and an emphasis on the West & Midwest, Jamie Munro knows high school coaches all over the country, and exactly what college coaches are looking for in future players.
Both Jamie Munro and Jake Reed are connected to programs in every part of the country, and will use those connections to hire local coaches to help 3dBC seek out and invite the best athletes countrywide. These coaches will scout and evaluate at practices, games, tournaments, and clinics throughout the spring, summer, and fall to make sure the top players get invited to the winter camps.
As was the case in year one and two of 3dbc, the traditional 120 invitations to the Jake Reed Nike Blue Chip Lacrosse Camp (held next summer) will be sent out to 2015, 2016, and 2017 graduates. There will be no direct invitations to the Jake Reed Nike Blue Chip Lacrosse camp for the class of 2018. Rather, the 2018 camp will include 120 players, ALL OF WHOM WILL BE INVITED SOLELY THROUGH 3d BLUE CHIP.
